ODYSSEA

Where do we even begin… how do you put the trip of a lifetime into words?! When you board, they are “the crew” but when you leave, they are friends you’ll remember and talk about forever.

Ric kept us constantly laughing and was always good for a joke. He made the best drinks, and when you get to try the coconut margarita, be sure to thank Sara. Definitely needs to be added to the Odyssea’s cocktail menu! He always had the dinghy ready when we needed it - even when we requested a 7am departure time for shell collecting. His prescription sunglasses will forever be part of the pirate’s treasure we search for. He should sleep with one eye open until next April 1.

Rox - this trip wouldn’t be the same without you. Your food is second to none - you always knew exactly what we needed and when. Whether it was hangover breakfast burritos or the amazing poke bowls, you constantly left us saying, “we could eat this every day for the rest of our lives.” You are truly the heart of this operation! Keep searching for fresh dill and keep the glow sticks stocked for our next visit.

Captain Dilly Bean - I mean Dylan - is a great leader who always found the best anchorage points and perfect white sand beaches. He knows his stuff and we were lucky to have him as our captain. He was happy to change the itinerary and accommodate us at every turn, while also providing the best suggestions. He was never afraid to join our shenanigans, but always made us feel safe and taken care of. He even helped us pull off a great April Fool’s joke on Ric! Also part of the winning team of the Odyssea Olympics - just ask Ric, who unsuccessfully tried to sabotage us.

We’re the luckiest people in the world to have gotten to take this trip. Until next time…

Another amazing trip. From anniversary, to birthday, to a scared head, the trip had it all. Rox & Rick are an amazing addition to the crew. Fishing, food, drinks, etc. the best!! Looking forward to next year!!!

This was our 3rd trip with Dylan, and we are already planning the next one. While there are plenty of other charters out there, I can't see us ever straying from the Odyssea. Rick and Rox were incredible additions to the crew. Rick's sense of humor and quick wit brought so much joy to each day, and Rox's meals were absolutely unforgettable. Cindy definitely wants some of the recipes. Rox, the "Singing Chef"!

Looking forward to next year and many more adventures together!

Cindy & Dave

Amazing from start to finish... no longer a Willy T's jumper virgin, so glad we jumped together. The food presentation and meals were first class – so delicious and fresh! Couldn't ask for a better crew and sailing experience!

Gina & Jim

Didn't know what to expect, but it exceeded all of our expectations. Ricky Bobby out-kicked his coverage with Rox. Didn't think we'd make such good friends on a boat. Can't wait for the next voyage. The crew/new friends are amazing people!!

Megan & Ed, Alice & Chris

Ric: Always keeping us on our toes with your quick sense of humor! Thanks for teaching us new games (which sometimes was quite difficult after we've had a few of your cocktails). Your hospitality does not go unnoticed and we appreciate everything you did to make this trip unforgettable!

Rox: Our Roxstar! Truly blew us away with every meal you made, making it very hard for us to choose our favorite! We will need some of those recipes, even though we won't be able to recreate with your level of finesse. You made us feel so spoiled with 3 delicious meals a day!

Dylan: Thank you for captaining our experience! Your expertise on the BVI is truly so impressive and allowed you to create the perfect itinerary for our family (and helped guide our decision making while we can sometimes be indecisive).

This trip was truly a dream! It was a great opportunity for us to spend quality time with our family with a good mix of relaxation, adventure, and partying. Thanks for an amazing trip!

Julie & Will, Gina & Paul, Emma & Bryce

What can we say! Our trip was wonderful as always. Dylan, Ric & Rox make it very hard to leave. Rox's food was delicious and perfect for everyone's likes. Ric was very attentive and made sure the drinks were flowing and we had what we needed.

We loved every minute and will always treasure the stories and memories of this fabulous trip. Thanks!

Thank y'all very much! Hugs & wishing y'all the best!

Every meal was made with love. Every minute, hour, and day was incredible because of y'all. You & your crew are truly one of a kind! Thank you for all the laughs, photos, rides to shore, trails, and lasting memories!

What can I say other than Dylan & crew always make this vacation an amazing experience. Rox's meals were on point. Rick always had drinks flowing, making sure we had plenty of entertainment. We loved every moment.

Love,

We had so much fun with all of you. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Thank you for the amazing meals. Thank you for the amazing dives. We will remember this week forever.

We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you! Your boat is beautiful and all three of you run it so very well. We will treasure our memories of this trip forever and hope to meet again.

Wonderful experience! Traveling the BVI with the Odyssea team was an experience we'll never forget! Dylan was a top-shelf captain and Rick & Rox did a great job of taking care of us. Rox is an impressive chef! We were never hungry! We loved the snorkelling, the occasional hikes, and the beautiful sunsets!

STOP! Just stop making it so difficult... for us to leave. But at least we know it will be short lived. I know we'll be back for a 3rd trip and we just can't wait.

You all made everything perfect. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

All our love,

Vaughn & Kathy, Bill & Kristin, Kris & John Roberts, Tony & Laura Cesti

This was our 3rd trip on the Odyssea and it was our best trip and it was truly unforgettable. Rox with her fabulous meals, Rick and Dylan with the sailing and so many different anchorages this time. We are always so impressed with the excellent sailing and finding the best spots away from people. We made amazing memories and invite you all to visit us if you get the opportunity. Thank you so much for everything.

Robin & Michael, Tim & Garrett, Chris & Emma, Teresa & Darren

An amazing time exploring, diving & snorkeling! The quiet days on the Odyssea were fantastic! What can we say other than it was the most relaxing vacation ever!

The food you cooked each day was exceptional, Rox, delicious!

Our group was a mix of abilities and you all took such great care of us all. The laughter, the drinks, the food, the cabins, all exceptional!

We cannot wait to return. We are all so grateful to you all for such an incredible experience.

See you next time,

P.S. Thanks to all three of you for the most amazing dives… that was a total chill-out. Thanks.

Anne, Stuart, Mari, Norman, Janice & Owen

What can we say other than this really did exceed all expectations!

Captain Dylan, Ric and Rox were absolutely wonderful! It was the crew who truly made this experience special for all of us. They were so attentive, knowledgable, personable, fun and so incredibly talented at what they do. The food, the sailing, the drinks...We can't ever imagine going on another charter without them. We are just so incredibly grateful it was those 3 lovely people who shared in this experience with us. We cannot thank them enough.

We were all in awe at how Rox and the crew could create such lovely meals for us all in such a small space! The food was delicious, fresh, beautifully presented and was probably the highlight of the whole trip.

There were so many aspects that we all loved on this trip. We spent quality time relaxing, exploring and Dylan was so knowledgable of the area, we relied on his expertise and it was excellent. We loved the emails and our time on board with the crew as well as exploring the BVI. The boat and crew were exceptional!
The pace was great and Dylan took all aspects of our must see islands and blended that with the weather and created special trip for us. The BVI is a lot of fun to explore and we loved it and loved this crew!

Dylan, Roxy & Rick,

Perfect! Your attention to detail is on par with any of the best hotels in the world. Roxy, we wish you had a published menu so we could fly and eat like this for the rest of our lives. Dylan, you are an excellent captain, bartender and leader... lay off the cookies though, you'll get fat! 😊

Rick, you are going to be an excellent captain. Your instincts are great and your attention to guest needs is very, very, very good. Your sense of humor is crap though.

Last note: best toilet paper on the high seas!

Love you!!! Best vacation ever!

Jason, Carol, Kevin, Jodie.

AFTER CHARTER FOLLOW UP:
How did you find your crew? Were they friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating?
▷ All three crew members were fabulous. We would give them all very high marks on all these attributes - friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating. They were very focused on doing what we wanted and what we liked. They were very enjoyable to be with. They went out of their way to understand what we liked and disliked and adjust the plan to accommodate our feedback.

Was the yacht comfortable, clean and well ventilated? What was your favorite aspect of the yacht?
▷ The crew took great pride in making sure everything was clean and in good working order. They had a number of very creative ways to make us more comfortable and have easier access to things we used. We did tell them that they needed more ventilation in the outdoor dining area and another step or two on the ladder to get out of the water. They had already planned to address those issues when they had down time.

Was the food enjoyable and well presented? Did the chef customize the menu to your preferences?
▷ Gi was simply amazing. Her meals were all phenomenal - creative, fresh, very well tasty, healthy . She vetted the menu with us and adjusted to special needs. We really enjoyed her descriptions of the preparation that she gave before each meal. She should create and sell a cookbook!

Did you enjoy the itinerary and the area you sailed?
▷ Very much so. They tailored the itinerary to our requests. They gave us an overview on day 1 and then discussed the plan for the day based on winds, currents etc to make sure we agreed.

Can we use your comments as a reference on our website?
▷ We left several glowing reviews with the crew with authorization for them to post anywhere they choose. We highly recommend them to anyone!

Dylan, Gi & Mario,
Thank you for a wonderful week, Every day was a 10 out of 10. The food, snorkeling, sailing all surpassed our expectations. Hope to see you soon!

Thank you for giving us this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitute for the incredible experience you provided during this trip (and all previous trips for all of us but Ken =) ). From the laughter and stories to the always amazing food and breathtaking scenery, every single moment was truly unforgettable.

Your professionalism, warmth, and attention to every detail made the entire trip seamless and special. The only thing that would have made the trip better was if Mario had caught his tarpon.

The memories we created will certainly last a lifetime (or until next time).
We couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to be our crew.
Thank you for all the memories!

Been everywhere, done that, but what we have experienced this week was truly special. An exceptional and wonderful time. We will be back.

Thank you so much for making us feel like family. This week was a trip of a lifetime. We made so many life long memories. Your hospitality was second to none. You were all so welcoming and professional. We can’t thank you enough for everything.

This week was one of the most amazing I have experienced. We have been bowled over more than words can express. The Irish are known for their hospitality, you have outclassed us.

Guys I have one word
“FANTASTIC”

A life well lived is filled with memories.
You have given us amazing experiences. We thank you.

Dear crew of the Odyssea -
You have exceeded our expectations - Thank you for an amazing experience.

To next year.

Odyssea Crew -

When I think of how to describe this trip, the best word that comes to mind is … Incredible! Having a stomach that doesn’t have ‘its’ “sea legs”, I was quite concerned about coming. HOWEVER, there was never a moment when I didn’t feel that my happiness and comfort was their priority. This trip and CREW completely outdid our expectations! Being a 62 year old wife, mother, daughter…I can’t remember when I’ve felt SO COMPLETELY SPOILED! And, SO relaxed! Can’t imagine ever sailing with ANY other crew. We LOVE them ALL! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness, kindness, hospitality and beautiful smiles! :)

Dylan, Gi, & Mario -

This trip has been more than we anticipated. You all have daily exceeded expectations! Capt. Dylan, your knowledge and expertise of the islands and the excursions has been excellent. Thank you all for helping us celebrate Jerry & Michelle’s 30th wedding anniversary and also my 58th birthday! We created memories that will be talked about for years! We would love to all come back & do another charter with you all. Your the best & we couldn’t have asked for a better time & experience! We’ve enjoyed getting to know each of you & consider you friends! What a great trip & celebration! Your hospitality has been beyond measure!

We love ya’ll, simply the best.

Dylan, Gi, & Mario

We would like to wish you all a heartfelt gratitude for such a special week on the Odyssea. Gi constantly out does herself with each and every meal. Dylan is always able to navigate to the most unique & exceptional anchor locations. He was also “kind” enough to introduce us to the game of liar’s dice. All of us were very impressed with the addition of Mario. We appreciated his sweet disposition and top notch gin & tonics. Until next time…Cheers!

“The best things in life are the people we love (and met), the places we’ve been and the memories we’ve made along the way.” You are all gracious hosts that made me feel like I was part of the ships family. I will cherish every memory made with our short time together. Your passion for what you do is demonstrated in all the perfect details.

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste it, to experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.” Eleanor Rosevelt.

Dylan, Gi, and Mario,
We had an amazing time. Your hospitality knows no bounds. Thank you for giving my friends and family an experience they will remember for a lifetime. I am filled with gratitude.

I pray you have many successful season, May God bless the work of your hands.

Dylan, Gi, and Mario:
When I received the text from Eloise on Dec 9 “BVI for my birthday. First week of February. Ya’ll in?” Well of course I texted back, “I’m totally in.” Planning began and excitement grew not knowing what to expect for this week in BVI.
Dylan (captain) - thank you for taking us to so many beautiful bays, teaching us lots of fun games, sharing all your knowledge about the BVI, and your constant attention to empty drinks :) Thank you for being kind to me on Big Mabel.
Gi (Ninja) and chef extraordinaire: each meal full of flavour and beautifully prepared. You have a true gift and we can’t wait to attempt your recipes. Your laughter (even your snorts :)) are contagious. It was so much fun, all of us sitting around the table spending hours laughing and playing games.
Mario ( Mr. Hospitality): the minute we came up those stairs you had our coffee either already prepared or close to it. Somehow you knew when we needed a refill - oh that’s right - you called it hospitality intuition. Be prepared for a rematch in B.S. :)
I can honestly say this is my trip of a lifetime. What an honor to be on the Odyssea this week.

Dylan & Gi,
3 times we’ve chartered w/you and you both never cease to delight, impress and care for all of us. Every location so carefully selected with everyone so well attended to. Gi’s food was awesome at every meal. Juggling allergies and making things delicious is a talent. Gi’s laugh is so contagious! Both of you company is also thoroughly enjoyed. Oh, the patience w/the water sports should earn you sainthood Dylan. I’m sure I’m forgetting something so just comprehensively THANK YOU!
Ps. See you next year for round 4 if you’ll have us!

Dylan and Gi -
You are both SO INCREDIBLY TALENTED at what you do! Dylan, your patience, hospitality, love for the water and islands - it is contagious!

Thank you, thank you for one of our best weeks!

Dylan and Gi,

Thank you so much for making this trip even more amazing than the trip before! We loved all the amazing snorkel spots, scuba footage, game nights playing pigs, the SLINGSHOT, incredible meals that continued to amaze, and the best pina coladas on the planet! We will never forget this trip, and Will and I are especially glad the we got ENGAGED on the most beautiful beach, with all of our favorite people, and were able to celebrate with you both. We will miss all the laughs, adventures, and memories made each day. Please come and visit us in NC! We will all be counting down the days until we get to see you guys again. Thank you for everything!!

Dylan and Gi,
Our family has looked forward to this trip for over a year now. Our tandem sailing with our friends the Elwers and Port To Vino was fantastic. All our expectations were surpassed. You two are so very professional and very personable - you became part of our family on this sailing. Thank you for all the wonderful water sports - sling shot was amazing, snorkeling, scuba diving, dice/board games at night - too much to mention. We hope you will come visit us in Idaho so we can show you our beautiful state! Come visit us on Chicken dinner road - wine country. “Last charter of the year and first of the year” 2022-20223

Dylan and Gi,
You have both blessed us with a gift of a lifetime. This incredible week we’ve spent with you has been life changing.

Dylan + GI,
You have exceeded our expectations! We whave thought about this trip for two decades and it was worth the wait! We appreciate your patience with us and being willing to accomodate our every request! The food was spectacular - love the mahi mango app - so good! We are waiting for your cookbook Gi! Fave places - Brewers Bay, the Baths, cliff jumping, soggy dollar, that deserted island! Thank you!

The food was delicious and drinks tasty. Thanks for a trip of a lifetime! Hopefullt we’ll be back aboard!

Dear Dylan and Gi,

Thank you so much for your hospitality and conversations. My family and I had a great time exploring the BVI on your boat. The food was great and we vastly enjoyed knee boarding! After this(which was our first experience) we will definitely do it again! Thank you!

WOWZERS!!! We don’t even know where to begin…Dylan and Gi…you are INCREDIBLE! The two of you made this trip of a lifetime absolutely PERFECT! We will not ever forget our time with you! BAIE DANKIE #nocheese #teamcork

Dylan and Gi,
We had a wonderful time! Thank you for your expertise and hospitality. This trip lived up to expectations, solely because of you two. Appreciate you both putting us on pretty views, great food and drink and fun side trips.

Dylan + Gi,

You have done a great job of hosting us this past week in paradise. This was our fourth charter and it was by far the best. One in our group had a birthday and you two made it so special. We had an issue with two of our group getting sick and you cared for them very well until they recovered. A bit scary, but recovery was quick. We saw some new places and got into many quiet anchorages. Your sound advice made for a very safe and pleasant week. Gi completely spoiled us with her food and technique. You are both very talented beyond your age and we so appreciated that. If we are fortunate enough to come back, you will be our first call. Fair winds and sunny sails.

Dylan and Gi,
From the moment we stepped off of the dock until the final stop you exceeded our expectations. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner was unique and delicious. Dylan’s thoughtful, safety, and no drama approach to all aspects ensured that every sail and anchorage were enjoyed by all the guests. I don’t think we could have asked for better hosts. Simply amazing! Wonderful all the way.

Dylan and Gi,
We had the trip of a lifetime with you on the Odyssea. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect trip. This was our first charter and truly a dream come true! We will carry all the beautiful memories with us forever and smile when we think of you. I can’t imagine having a finer Captain and “Chef de exellence!!” What a magical team you make! All your hard work looks effortless to everyone on board. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and may we meet again…Bravo…for a job well done.

Thank you Dylan and Gi, for an amazing adventure and wonderful, fun time with the BEST cuisine we have experienced, ever!
Patient, cheerful, courteous, professinal, resourceful, empathetic, and super fun! You set the 5 star standard by which ALL other charters will be compared! And an extra thanks for taking care of us sickies!

Dylan and Gi
Thank you for the fabulous vacation on Odyssea. You both were so friendly, professional, & accommodating. The hospitality was beyond expectations. It’s amazing how Gi could cook those meals in such a small space. You both gave us lots of options for drinks, water, sports & relaxation. Thank you again from your NC crew.

Dylan + Gi,

It was a trip of a lifetime. The moment yo board you are on vacation. Gi or Dylan hand you a cocktail and you well in hand. We had many adventures together on the Odyssea. Our favs were
- Indian island
- JVD - go right - Not left!
- long bay/Mountain Pt - but watch those waves!
- Hogs head views
- Baths
- Rhone
- Turttles
Dylans’ expertise at planning the itinerary were second to none. Gi’s culinary skills were beautifully presented, delicious + completely spoiled us. Best of all was having meals all together and making friendships stronger. You’ve ruined us for any future vacations.

Dylan and Gi -
To say this trip was beyond extraordinary is an understatement! Your professionalism, knowledge, personality, and overall ability to make every moment special, was so greatly appreciated. No vacation will ever compare nor live up to the experience of our trip! We are truly going to miss you both (but mostly Gi’s COOKING!) Please look us up if ever in the states so we can feed you!

Dylan and Gim

There are experiences in one’s life that are so special that it is hard to capture in words. We have been on many vacations, seen amazing sites & experienced great adventures, met the nicest people and enjoyed the company of friends. What was truly special about our time with you on the Odyssea was that, in some magical way, you delivered ALL of that in one week. In just seven day we saw the best of the BVI, strengthened friendships and made two more with you. Like Homer’s poem our time with you was truly epic.

Dylan and Gi
Trip of a lifetime!

Broker Feedback to the Captain-

Sorry for the delayed reply in getting feedback from the B’s who left ODYSSEA on the 3rd… But, I was finally able to chat with them over the phone last night, so I am relaying this…

They had an excellent time with you and Gi on board. They were very impressed with your knowledge and experience. They knew you had their best interest at heart all the time and you are super caring!
Butch loved hanging out with you, which gave Mrs. some time to herself! She loved it! She also mentioned how impressed they were with being in a small space all together, yet you both knew how to give them their space, and when to join in. It was never an issue..

The boat was very nice too. They mentioned the unfortunate weather they had, but you guys made it great. (I think she mentioned board games or dominoes or something) Whatever, they enjoyed spending that time with you.

Regarding Gi, OMG! She went off talking about her cooking and presentations. She also sent me photos in a text. Gi not only did an excellent job with cooking but the presentation was beautiful with every meal. She mentioned that “not only did she do such an excellent job, but it was effortlessly on her end. I never saw her really with a messed up galley in the middle of cooking. She never really saw her in the galley making a mess, it was always very clean and organized as if she really wasn’t cooking.” (I hope I am relaying this right) "We joked about how I, or Amparo, cook a meal and everyone knows with the banging of pots/pans/dishes etc. and the kitchen would be a mess. Gi had NONE of that! She was like a magician in the galley and you never knew she could produce such great meals every day with no stress and cleanliness. Her galley was always perfect even in the middle of cooking!"

She also mentioned they would go to their room and were shocked to see the room always cleaned and perfect. She was shocked because she never saw either one of you going down to their rooms ever. Again, like a magician!

They would love to come back with you and ODYSSEA in the future, for sure…

Dylan and G,

We all had a wonderful week. Full circle from Norman Island to the caves. Scuba locations were amazing and so much fun for the boys. The meals were all delicious! Can’t wait till next time. Take care you two!

Great times by all! Laughs, smiles, good memories…& pirates dice!

Dear Dylan & Gi,

This is our first “cruise” vacation as a family, and honestly could not have a better crew. Everything from safety, the food, the magically made up beds, and the most amazing friendly voices. You two are perfect example(s) of how to be courteous and calm around all kinds of personalities in a family. We could simply not have asked for a better experience. Please come see us in Park City, Utah! Or even connect or take/get in touch if you visit the Westcoast of Norway in the summer. Thanks from the bottom of my heart giving us all an unforgettable week, So so sad to leave. Keep in touch! xoxo Tone

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page”

Dear Dylan x Gi,

My daughter-in-law, Tone, has voiced my thought! This cruise was perfection! You and Gi are the best, so caring and patient. Odyssea was perfect for our 3 generations. We loved the pace, the beauty, the scenery scuba, and snorkeling. It has been a wonderful week and we hope to see you again. Come visit TN!
Anne x David

Dylan & G,
We can’t even imagine a better trip. Everything was wonderful; food, boat, knowledge, snorkeling etc. etc. Thank you, Thank you for making our trip a once in a lifetime experience. We can’t say enough.
Please come visit us in California, our door is always open for you both. We hope to see you again!

Thank you for the way I’ll feel everytime I look at our photos. The hardest (or only hard) part of the trip is leaving on the last day. Thank you for a fabulous vacation. Tam and Sam

What can I say - what a perfect week! Laughter, friendship, amazing food (thank you, Gi!) and beverage…and snorkeling adventures that for better and better…okay, coulda done without the jellyfish…superlatives are woefully inadequate. You both went way above and beyond what we could have expected. Thank you so much for a perfect sail! Susan and Steve

Dylan + G,

Thank you for an amazing week! It was the best way to break free of Covid and celebrate a 50th birthday for Rich. We so appreciate you hospitality, delicious food and the wonderful way you took care of all the details big + small for us. We created so many memories and deepened the bonds of friendship over snorkelling, hiking and super moon gazing. We'll be back!

After years of bareboat chartering; Dylan & Gi have converted us! Knowing the anchorages, snorkelling spots and finest dining (right on board!) has made us understand chartering done right.
Thank you for giving us a fabulous week. Dylan and Gi – you rock!! Come visit us in New England when it is warm! Absolutely fabulous week in paradise – a little piece of heaven – thank you so much!!

Gi and Dylan
Thanks so much for the extraordinary week on board Slivochka, Gi, your 100 megawatt smile and warm hospitality set the tone for the week: and your meals – all outstanding. Dylan your excellent seamanship and encyclopaedic knowledge of the BVI, its anchorages, snorkelling spots provided us with a fantastic vacation: smooth seas and fair winds for you. Thanks so much.

Dylan and Gi,
As first time sailors, the experience was far beyond any expectations we had – in every aspect of the trip, Fabulous!

Cathy and Mike Corbett, Myron and Cathy Zimmerman, John and Fawn, Nancy and Pete Brown

Dylan & Gi,
Thank you for a wonderful week of adventure. If we could Gi home with us to cook for us we would. All our meals were wonderful, breakfast, lunch & dinner! Dylan was a great captain & cool as a cucumber when the dingy stopped running and we had to row back to the boat. He was a great participant in the What Do You Meme game! Dylan was very flexible with our itinerary and had great suggestions. We tried to get them to let us stay on as part of the crew but unfortunately that would have required them to cancel the rest of their charters! We would definitely book another charter on Slivochka with Dylan & Gi.

Greg, Susan, Kyle, Allison, Katie and Chad Hackenbracht, Paul Pettitt, Erin Roy

Dylan & Gi (smiley)
Thank you for an ALL-AMAZING trip. It exceeded our expectations. We appreciated your professionalism and easy going personalities. The two year wait from our original plan was worth it and we will be back soon. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and cocktails. There were new stories everyday that we can add to our memories. And we have two new friends. Fair winds & following seas.

Dylan & Gi,
What a great trip. We enjoyed every minute. The food was wonderful. I think the girls had 6 of the-best meals they’ve ever had. Can’t wait to do this again soon with you guys. Hope we weren’t too much trouble. Keep in touch.
Steve & Judy Vermillion

Thank you so much for such an amazing experience, we could not have asked for a better crew! Gi, your cooking was INCREDIBLE. It’s going to be so hard to go back to eating our subpar meals. We had an absolute blast staying up and playing endless amounts of card games, especially spoons. Willy T’s is a night we loved the most – the memories may be fuzzy, but unfortunately the videos and bruises aren’t. Dylan, thank you for being a great leader when it came to snorkelling and ass tattoos  Thank you Gi for introducing us to the Caipirinha, we will spend countless hours trying to recreate the recipe since you can’t share (along with the soy fillet sauce). It’s hard to pick a favorite island they were all our favorite – from dune buggies at Anegada to the caves at Norman. We will never forget this trip and we will absolutely be back soon. We cannot thank you guys enough for going above and beyond.

Dylan & Gi,
What an amazing week. I must confess that memories of a charter 10 years ago really made me think that experience could never be matched. Wow, was I wrong. Not only did you all match it, you exceeded my expectations. If I could bottle up and market you all I think we could make millions! The smiles, the service the excellent food and your willingness to do whatever was asked made for an amazing trip. Dylan’s wise chores and very judicious guidance on where to go and what to do was always right on target. Both of you have such a friendly personality we fell in love with you both instantly. We plan on shouting your highest praises and recommending you & the Slivochka to anyone that will listen. Gi thanks for taking one for the team with Christopher! That’s one experience we won’t forget and will become part of our “vacation” stories. God Bless you both with rich lives and success in all you do.

With much appreciation and thanks
Matt & Lisa Bowman

I can’t thank you enough for the incredible week I (personally had), as well as our whole group. It’s hard to think back and pick a favorite but if I was forced, simply sailing!! And of course having the atmosphere to reconnect with new and old friends. The both of out did yourselves. Dave & I are in the process of figuring out another time w/another group so we will see you in the future!!!
Sincerely,
Stacy Florence

Thanks to the cocktail board outside. I don’t remember much, but apparently, according to Stacy’s Facebook posts, I’ve had a blast! Just kidding. I remember everything, every delicious meal, especially! You two are amazing people. Made for hospitality, for sure, but overall you are genuinely wonderful spirits. You’ve given me a lifetime of adventure, laughter, and memories in this short little week. (And Dylan, I still can’t believe you caught my hat!)
Thank you!!

Steve & Wynne

Dylan & Gi –
Thank you for making the first voyage for our kiddos such a success! Jack & I have dreamed of introducing them to such a vacation, you’re patience, attention to all of the details, and special touches made it a perfect trip. Magdalene (9 years old) will forever remember the snorkelling, getting to touch a jelly fish, diving down to touch a rock, seeing a grand sea turtle, & of course her special friend “Rob” the conch  Capt. Dylan, your patience & guidance helped make all of these things possible. Jaxie (8 years old) loved sitting on the nets with the wind blowing on her face, snorkelling, tubing & of course the early morning chats with you both. Maverick (4 years) will always remember the swims in the “open seas”, his first tubing experience, searching for shells, and he will likely keep dreaming of Gi’s sweets for years to come! Truly, a wonderful, fabulous journey with you both. The pirate thanksgiving lunch was a terrific treat.
Until next time,

Amanda & Jack Ryan, Magdalene, Jaxie & Maverick

We had an amazing time! The boat was very well appointed and perfectly
accommodated our group. Dylan and Isabella were incredible. They were
knowledgeable, interesting, professional and just fun to be around. Bella is an
amazing chef and all of her food was delicious. We were all baffled by how she
cooked such gourmet meals in such a small space. Dylan did an excellent job
leading our dives and providing a fun and safe environment for all.

This really is an incredible vacation for anyone. It is so relaxing, rejuvenating and
a genuine break for day to day life.

The meals were so delicious that one of the kids wanted to propose to Bella! The
food was perfect. Bella did an amazing job working around the needs of
someone with a nut allergy and a pescatarian. The meals were interested and
beautifully presented. She was very mindful of our preference sheet.

The yacht was beautiful. It was clean, well-maintained and well appointed. The
provided toiletries were high end and very much appreciated. Everyone loved the
Sun Bum sunscreen and it was soo nice not to bring all that along. The cabins
were comfortable and the AC was great. We loved sitting on the upper deck on
our sails. It would have been a bit nicer if there was a little more shade up there
but it was not a issues. It was nicely situated next to the captain and it provided
a nice opportunity to talk with Dylan and Bella while crossing. There were plenty
of other shaded options on the boat.
We loved the coffee machine, snacks and fruit that were always out and
available. It was also super helpful to have the "lost & found" basket and the
sunglasses basket. Great idea!
The games and books were also a nice touch.

Our diving was a highlight for our family. We did two dives that were very fun.
Dylan and Bella worked seamlessly to get the equipment out, get us oriented
and prepared for the dive. Dylan did a great job reviewing skills (especially for
our kids), the dive plan and signals before were dove. We loved both the Indians
Dive and the octopus wreck dive.

The pace was a perfect balance of relaxing and active. We loved swimming,
snorkeling, diving, reading, paddle boarding, playing games & hanging out. The
cruising gave us the perfect amount of downtime between all the fun.

Thank you so much for the most wonderful family vacation EVER. We love to travel and its not easy with our large family and variety of age groups! We appreciate so much your patience in teaching us how to ski and fixing snorkels and reeling in fishing lines. . . etc, etc. You made an especially big impression on our side. You have a new buddy for life. :)
We also appreciate your help in arranging to meet up with our friend. It was great for us to see her! You took us to many beautiful places and you didn't murder us and drop our bodies at sea. So thanks for that. Isabella, you are a delight as is your cooking. Best painkillers around. We will spread the word. Thank you for being so sweet and gracious in the face of our chaos and mess. We would love to eat your delicious food daily. Much luck to you in your future! We will miss you! The Spiats Family

So difficult to put into words exactly how FABULOUS the last few days have been! Captain man-Baby...you helped us have the time of our lives while keeping MOST of us from harming ourselves :) And Bella...you filled our bellies with the EXQUISITE cuisine and delicious cocktails. But more importantly, you filled our hearts with warm memories we will take with us and cherish forever. Thank you both so much for going ABOVE and BEYOND to make this best girls' trip we've taken yet! TX Happy Sails

"We just returned from an amazing week long private charter in the BVIs on the Slivochka with Dylan as our captain and Isabella as our first mate/chef. It was one of my favorite vacations ever and first ever chartered yacht experience. Captain Dylan worked with us in the planning stages to find out exactly what our interests were and charted the perfect itinerary for our week. He found the most awesome places to show us the amazing beauty of the BVIs. He gave us options throughout the trip and accommodated everything our group wanted to see and do. He guided us on snorkel and hike excursions and was a wonderful host. Isabella was equally knowledgeable and also made suggestions along the way of things to see and do. She also joined us snorkeling, but happens to be a trained dive master. She was the most gracious host, and made our week extremely comfortable. However, her gourmet cuisine was something we looked forward to each day. Her skills as a chef allowed us to dine as if we were at a 5 Star restaurant. She also consulted with us before the trip about our food preferences, and her menu for the week exceeded our expectations. I frankly don’t know how she was able to prepare what she did on board because each meal was simply amazing. She does so much behind the scenes that I don’t know when she slept. Together, they are the perfect team and made our week at sea the most memorable and outstanding vacation, that I will be booking our next charter with them. Thank you Captain Dylan and Bella for all that you did for us. We loved getting to know you and being on board Slivochka. "

We are three reasonably well traveled couples who just finished a most extraordinary and delightful vacation, sailing with Slivochka through the British Virgin Islands. This week long cruise on the yacht Slivochka far exceeded our expectations making it one of our best vacations ever. The three most important factors in chartering a full-service yacht are the crew, the boat, and the itinerary. Beginning with the crew, they were outstanding. Prior to our arrival they had telephoned to discuss our plans. Upon arrival they warmly welcomed us on board Slivochka with cocktails and snacks. They were both so friendly and hospitable that by the end of our cruise they were a part of our family. Dylan was an extremely competent and knowledgeable captain, always finding sheltered anchorages for us to swim and snorkel. He also made all the arrangements for any shore excursions that we enjoyed. For anything that we wanted we simply had to ask Dylan.

The meals were exquisite. She is a fantastic cook and each day’s offerings included fresh produce and salads, deliciously prepared grilled fish or meat and even some imaginatively created themed dinners. A special memory was when they joined us on Anegada for a lobster dinner in an outdoor restaurant under the full moon. They were such accommodating and congenial traveling companions who took such excellent care of us that we were sad to bid them farewell.

The second consideration was the yacht Slivochka. This is a 59-foot sailing catamaran with extremely comfortable lodging for the guests. Each air-conditioned guest cabin included a walk around queen-size bed, and in-suite head and very adequate storage space. The main deck area was spacious with indoor and outdoor dining areas, and there was a comfortable reclining area next to the bridge. On board were kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling equipment and fishing gear for our use. The yacht was spotless and very well maintained. We had planned the itinerary with Dylan. This included stops at Norman Island, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke and back to St. Thomas. In addition, we had many side excursions for snorkeling and exploring the beautiful British Virgin Islands.

We have charted several boats in the past in the Virgin Islands but they all pale in comparison to sailing on Slivochka. We give them our highest recommendations and hope they will be our crew for any future excursions.

Dear Keri and Dylan,
Our little piece of heaven in The BVI and you two made it possible! We're afraid that all other vacations will pale in comparison to this fantastic week.
It was the perfect storm - luxury boat, 5 star cuisine, gorgeous weather, great friends and your wonderful care and consideration. you both made the trip - you rock - you're awesome. we wish you much success and happiness and good fortune in all of your future endeavours.
Much love, and thank you both so very much -

Dear Keri + Dylan,
Thank you for the most amazing vacation ever! You two are such wonderful hosts. You think of everything and make it all seem effortless. Keri, the meals were just incredible. The ribs, sliders, risotto, beautiful salads - they were all delicious. The creme brûlée was particularly memorable. :)
We loved our snorkel excursions and the hidden coves you all knew about. The kids loved waterskiing with Dylan too. Tyler will never forget catching his first shark either! :) Please look us up when you find yourselves wanting to check out the states.

You have both been instrumental in giving us a fabulous vacation! You've gone above and beyond to make our time on Slivochka especially memorable.
Keri's food was world class delicious, Keri-you seemed to anticipate our every need even before we knew it ourselves. Such as offering hot chocolate after coming back, a bit chilly, after snorkeling. And bringing up blankets at night to the group on the sky bridge because we may become chilly. Dylan-you kept us safe in the wind and the rainstorms. You were so patient with those who had less snorkeling experience and led us on the great snorkeling paddle board caravan with your strong & capable swimming prowess. You miraculously saved Paul's hearing aids, coming to their rescue with the crevice of the rocks at "The Indians" snorkeling location. We cannot imagine a more gracious and capable crew, and we have been blessed.

Thank you for fond memories that will last a lifetime!
P.S. sorry about sinking the floating island...
Fondly -

This has, by far been the most incredible trip for our family that I could have imagined. Dylan and Keri had all 16 of our guests at every meal which was important to us, thank you for setting up a 8 guest bare boat for the others to sleep in. We have grown to love you! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our large family. Dylan the children loved you. Spending our evenings sharing dinners together and just relaxing watching the fish or looking at the stars was exactly what we had hoped for. We will all go home with memories.
The Adamsons.

Dylan and Keri, We had planned to do this unusual vacation for 5-7 years and we selected the best crew and catamaran, our children loved you guys.
You shared so many of your stories about your lives and interacted with us all of the time. It was great to have you do this and make us feel so at home! We felt that you are an extended part of our family. We were comfortable and at home all the time! Dylan your great sense of humor – you challenged the kids and I to competitions, nice – it wasn’t a job it was something that you liked to do. You are very talented at what you do. You shared with us various tasks and gave us all mini lessons on sailing! Each and every meal was far superior to what we have imagined it to be, can we take Keri home with us? Please keep in touch.
