MASTERMIND

Captain Karlo, born in Croatia in 1982, is a skilled and passionate skipper with over 12 years of sailing experience. Holding a BSc in Economics, he initially navigated a career in sales, marketing, and digital marketing. However, his love for the sea, sparked during childhood sailing trips with his parents, eventually led him to pursue his true calling.

Karlo's journey as a captain and skipper began after he earned his RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification in 2015. Since then, he has captained luxury yachts up to 72ft in the Adriatic, Ionian, and Caribbean Seas, and delivered vessels up to 90ft across the Mediterranean and Atlantic. With more than 15,000 nautical miles under his belt and in his sails, including two Atlantic crossings (northern and southern routes), Karlo’s dedication to sailing continues to grow.

When not at sea, Karlo is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying activities like mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, running, and wakeboarding. He also has a passion for cooking, carpentry, and yoga. Non-smoking and health-conscious, Captain Karlo brings both expertise and a love for adventure to MASTERMIND.

Karlo speaks Croatian and English fluently as well as basic German and Spanish.

Karlito joined the luxury power catamaran MASTERMIND for the 2026 charter season, bringing a wealth of culinary experience gained in prestigious hotels, luxury alpine chalets and aboard large luxury catamarans.

His professional background includes renowned hospitality establishments in Croatia and Austria.

Before joining MASTERMIND, Karlo also gained valuable yachting experience aboard luxury catamarans in the 65-70ft range, including a Sunreef 70. This combination of land-based fine dining and luxury yacht experience has equipped him with the versatility required to deliver exceptional culinary experiences in a demanding charter environment.

Creative, ambitious and passionate about his profession, Karlo enjoys working with premium ingredients and developing personalised menus that reflect the preferences and dietary requirements of his guests. His approach combines attention to detail, culinary creativity and a genuine commitment to hospitality.

Sociable and adaptable, Karlo is a dedicated team player who looks forward to welcoming guests aboard MASTERMIND and making their charter experience memorable through excellent food and attentive service.

Ana Cudic also joined the luxury power catamaran MASTERMIND for the 2026 charter season, bringing a combination of yachting experience, hospitality skills and a warm, approachable personality.

Her previous yachting experience includes working aboard a 26m Sunseeker private motor yacht in Greece, as well as assisting the crew aboard a larger 40m motor yacht.

Beyond yachting, Ana has gained valuable experience in tourism, hospitality and guest relations, developing strong communication skills and a natural ability to make guests feel comfortable and well looked after.

A qualified kinesiology professional, Ana also works as a teaching assistant and aerial acrobatics coach. Her passion for sport and physical activity reflects her energetic personality, discipline and enthusiasm for working with people.

Friendly, organised and attentive to detail, Ana enjoys being part of a close-knit crew and contributing to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere on board. She looks forward to ensuring that every guest aboard MASTERMIND feels at home and enjoys a memorable charter experience.
